Best Thing about the Program: The MIP department is overall very supportive and I have enjoyed my time here. Between classes and rotations I got a good panoramic of what microbiological and immunological research could be.
What makes you unique?My cultural background: I was born in Venezuela, and my family is from Uruguay, Germany and Mexico. I have lived in Venezuela, Brazil, England, Germany and now New Orleans. I love to read and I am trying to improve my German.
