The Interdisciplinary Program
The
Interdisciplinary Program was established to provide students with an integrated curriculum and the opportunity to select a mentor from a wide range of disciplines. The program comprises seven Basic Science Departments ― Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Cell Biology and Anatomy; Genetics; Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology; Pathology; Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics; Physiology and the Neuroscience Program.
Students participate in a one-year integrated curriculum and, after a series of research rotations, select a mentor/department in which they will complete their dissertation research.
